Types of Writing

The types of writing I love to do most is journalism. Writing is not really my favorite subject but when I do have to write, I enjoy writing about current events, news stories and real life issues. I approach this type of writing by preparing myself in a lot of ways. I try to do a lot of researching on my topic. I then try to gather information from real people who experienced whatever I am writing about. I apply as much real life information as I can when writing news stories and such. The "they say/I say" approach could be well used in debates and more argumentative writings, rather than creative writing and short stories. I think if someone were to try and use the "they say/I say" means of approaching a subject, they may not alwasy be able to get the most out of their topic.

To write

To the Authors of "They Say I Say" are implying that writing is a "they say, I say" type of process. Meaning that an author should not only present their ideas, but also presenting those ideas in response to someone elses words. What writing is to me, is relaying information, stories, news etc... in a way that I deem necessary. Writing allows me to communicate what I am feeling in a multitude of ways. Such as, the ability to use as much creativity and emotion as I feel needs to be used in order to get a point across. To me, writing is also a way of being able to provide others with an insight into my life, opinions, aspirations and so on.
